The Graduate School is pleased to announce that Dr. Helene A. Shugart has accepted the position of Associate Dean for the Graduate School, effective July 1, 2023. Dr. Shugart will provide leadership and direction for the Graduate School in her new role.

The Graduate School Diversity Office is now accepting nominations for the “top-off awards/diversity recruitment bonuses.” We are awarding a total of five top-off awards at $3,240 each. Graduate programs and/or departments can nominate more than one student; however, decisions will be made based on the strength of the nominee’s application materials and the rigor of the program’s diversity recruitment efforts.
