You can register for single topics within each series or each (or all) of the three series. Participants who complete an entire series will receive a certificate of completion.

Supervising Work and People Series

In this seminar series we will explore the essentials of supervision, the employment relationship and keeping work moving. The topics will provide insights to help you be successful in your first supervisory role.  The Supervising Work and People Series will start on August 26, through October 14 from 9:30 - 11:00 am in Gardner Commons, Rm 3105.

Developing Your Leadership Skills Series

The focus of this seminar series is to provide graduate students and post docs with opportunities to reflect on their leadership style, personal career development and to enhance or develop skills in a number of specific areas including defining personal success, working optimally with others, building collaborative relationships, challenging conversations, conflict navigation, mentoring and negotiation. The series starts on August 27 through October 15, 2025, from 9:30 - 11:00 am in Gardner Commons, Rm 3105.
